Gianne was born on July 5th 1981 in the periphery of São Paolo. At age of 13 she was discovered by the photographer Sergio Duarte. Four month later she takes the big fasion shows by assault like Versace, Armani, Prada, Fiorucci. It caused a scandal with the etablished models like Claudia Schiffer and Naomi Campbell because of her youngish age.

At age of 18 Gianne was the first head of Terra The Girl. She is modelling around the world and participates to the fashion shows in Milan, Paris and New York. In Milan she had some appearances for Dolce and Gabana, Gucci and Armani. In New York she posed for famous photographers as Bruce Weber, Mario Testino and Steve Meisel. Laterly she attracts some attention with her photo shooting for the british FHM magazine.
